The Interview
In conversation with Kalos
How did you start making music with AI?
I started for fun, making silly songs with friends. But my requests were always bizarre, and when I saw the tool somehow following them, I got hooked and began exploring its possibilities.
What does AI do in your creative process — and what stays human?
AI generates sound; I bring the concepts, elaborate prompts, direction, selection and final decisions. The artistic responsibility remains mine.
Tell us about "your track". How was it made?
I had a clear idea of how I wanted the song to sound. I used detailed prompts and repeated generations, selecting and refining the results until they matched my original artistic vision.
“Music Is Nothing But Air”
Which tools do you use, and how?
I mainly use Suno, treating prompts as compositional instructions. I experiment, compare generations and select what serves the music.
What does it mean to be an Italian artist in the AI music scene?
I'm Italian, but my musical research has no national borders. I draw from diverse traditions without feeling bound to a specific genre or scene.
What impresses you most about the tools you use?
I'm fascinated by studying how the tool works, then bending it to my will and making it do things it was never designed to do.
You’re definitely an experimental artist. How do you feel about creating music that breaks the mold?
Breaking the mold isn't a goal in itself. I've always been passionate about experimental and avant-garde music, so I follow that passion wherever it leads, even into uncomfortable or strange territory
What's next for you?
More experiments, more extreme ideas, and more madness.
