How did you start making music with AI?
I was curious to see what would come out by feeding it concepts like grindcore mixed with j-pop. that spawned my first ep "KAWAIICORE". things kept evolving from there.
What does AI do in your creative process — and what stays human?
It turns my constant flow of concepts and ideas into music. i dont need anything else.
Tell us about "The Prettiest Tea Party". How was it made?
For this track I used suno. I fed it the various genres i wanted it to mix, specific instruments, the overall mood of the song. i described the scene the song was meant to describe, how the voice should represent the emotional instability of the protagonist, how the lyrics should portray a gruesome scenery using kawaii terms. On the surface its a song about a girl having a tea party. it's actually a murder scene where she sees her victims and the gore as cute things. you know, since she is completely insane.

Which tools do you use, and how?
I use Flow for more elaborated "mature" sounds and Suno for the fast and "schizo" ones. From time to time i use chatgpt to experiment for testing what kind of music the different AIs produce if i feed them visual inputs like ASCIIs, icons etc.
What does it mean to be an Italian artist in the AI music scene?
Mostly trying to keep it cool when my tracks are labelled as "just noise" by other italians.
What's next for you?
I don't know. More experimentation I guess.
