Progetto Re Cervo
TurnAvant-garde musical project focused on sonic research with the aid of AI. Its two main souls are Rock and Pagan Folk. In between there is plenty of sonic experimentation across numerous genres.

The Interview
In conversation with Progetto Re Cervo
How did you start making music with AI?
I discovered AI music in the autumn of 2025 while searching for an original way to accompany the poems in a book I wanted to publish. It was a deeply personal project, connected to the loss of my father and to my own inner and spiritual transformation. Then I discovered AI music, and everything changed. I began bringing my verses to life with Suno, and the results were astonishing. This unexpected journey led to my first three albums, blending dark pagan folk with Celtic-inspired sounds, and marked the beginning of my path as a producer. Since then, I have been completely captivated by AI music: its creative possibilities, the world surrounding it, and the people who are part of this community. What fascinates me most is the ability to turn my deepest emotions into music and share them with others. Since those beginnings, the PRC universe has continued to expand, constantly exploring new sonic landscapes and pushing towards new creative horizons. What started as a way to accompany my poetry has become a much bigger journey: a new form of artistic expression and a powerful way to give a voice to my inner world.
What does AI do in your creative process — and what stays human?
Everything starts with the lyrics. For me, music must be the clothing that words wear: it has to reflect their meaning, emotions, and deeper soul. I believe Suno does more than follow prompts and musical instructions. It also seems to respond to the content of the lyrics themselves. After thousands of generations, I have developed the feeling that it somehow recognizes my artistic identity and understands how to translate my words into music. I cannot explain exactly how it happens, but this has been my personal experience. AI gives me the means to explore sounds and bring musical ideas to life, but the human part remains at the heart of everything: the words, the emotions behind them, the artistic vision, and the choices I make throughout the creative process. AI can generate possibilities, but I am the one searching for the sound that truly belongs to each song. For me, the magic happens when technology and human sensitivity meet, allowing the music to become a genuine expression of what I want to communicate.
Tell us about "Quello che sai di noi". How was it made?
"Quello che sai di noi" tells the story of a deeply personal and profound bond with someone very dear to me. A relationship going through a period of uncertainty, seemingly fragile on the surface, yet holding an extraordinary depth and intensity. It lives through small moments, silences, unspoken words, and little traces left behind to be found — a delicate way of searching for each other without always revealing what we feel. Sometimes, we need to stop chasing signs, embrace silence, and listen within, allowing the right path to emerge from our incredible story and giving a voice to what remains unspoken. I created the track using Suno 6, with a refined prompt and without exploring the latest platform features yet. My goal was to develop a distinctive Italian alternative rock sound, built around dramatic contrasts between sweetness and aggression, tenderness and raw energy. These opposing forces became the emotional core and the sonic identity of the entire album, "Sotto mentite spoglie".
“I turn the deepest emotions of my soul into sound, without borders or limits.”
Which tools do you use, and how?
I use Suno 6, working with its previous set of features, which was still available to me until just a few days ago. After creating nearly ninety tracks across different genres, I have developed a clear idea of what I want and built a solid foundation of prompts to start from. For me, genre comes first. I have specific sonic references and models in mind, which help me shape each project from the beginning. At the same time, I love discovering new sounds, especially underground genres and musical movements emerging in other parts of the world. One of my goals for the future is to bring these influences to new audiences and experiment with blending them into my own prompts and sonic identity. I spend many hours generating, refining, and experimenting until I achieve the result I'm looking for. It takes patience, persistence, and a lot of exploration, but it's also a tremendous pleasure. For me, the process is as rewarding as the final track.
What does it mean to be an Italian artist in the AI music scene?
I feel truly honored to be part of the Italian AI music scene. Being recognized as one of its significant projects, alongside so many other wonderful artists, means a great deal to me. It is something I deeply value. At the same time, I believe my music has no borders. It comes from within me, from my soul, my emotions, and my way of seeing the world. And my vision of the world is vast, open, and constantly searching for new horizons. Being Italian is part of who I am, but I don't want my music to be confined by geography, language, or cultural boundaries. Through AI music, I can explore different worlds, sounds, and influences, following wherever my imagination and emotions take me. Ultimately, I want my music to speak beyond borders and connect with people through something universal: the emotions and experiences that make us human.
What's next for you?
I feel I'm approaching a turning point, a new phase in which I'll explore new directions. First, I need to fully understand Suno 6 and its new possibilities. At the same time, I still have many albums completed long ago, which I'm releasing gradually. I create and release music constantly, almost without stopping. I know some people might say it's too much, but I may never change. It's something visceral, a necessity. I often have an album ready to be released, but in the meantime, new songs emerge that I feel the need to share immediately. This continuous creative flow means that new albums begin to take shape while I'm still releasing existing ones. Yet everything follows its own thread, forming a broader artistic vision that those who follow PRC on YouTube, for example, can discover and understand over time. I feel there's still so much to explore, and I'm excited to discover where this journey will take me next.
